There is a strong tendency to place a lot of emphasis on information just because it is easily
attainable. For example, current stock prices and earnings are readily available, but is this
information the most meaningful for projecting a company’s future performance?

Placing greater emphasis on available information rather than relevant
information may save time but it may also lead to making biased decisions.
